The Latin inscription reads as follows:
 
B(onae) M(emoriae).
LICINIAE VALERIAE
FAUSTINAE ITALICAE
DORMIENTI IN PACE
QUAE VIXIT ANNO UNO
MENSES VI DIES VI
FILIAE DULCISSIMAE
PARENTES CONTRA VOTUM

In English:
 
"To the good memory. The parents [erected this monument] for their sweetest daughter Licinia Valeria Faustina Italica, who lived for one year, six months and six days, and who now sleeps in peace. [She died] against our wish."

The first part of the Latin inscription reads:
 
HIC TUMU- // LUS CLAUSUM // SERVAT COR- // PUS Domini Nostri
 
 
The second part of the Latin inscription reads:
 
IOHANNIS // SCISSIMI // AC TER BE- // ATISS ARCHIP
 
In English:
 
"This monument conserves the buried body of Our Lord Iohannes,
a most holy person, and three times the most blessed archbishop."
