The English title is misleading. The topic is not the moment when the famous king is dead, but the final weeks - the final days - leading up to the moment when he dies.

 

The docudrama is a combination of two elements:

 

(1) A traditional documentary film where modern experts (known as talking heads) appear from time to time

 

(2) A drama where historical scenes are reconstructed by modern actors.
