Wat Huay Mongkhon is located ca. 20 km west of Hua Hin

The temple is built to honour the memory of a famous monk:
Luang Por Tuad who lived 1582-1682
The central monument is a giant statue of the famous monk
Luang Por Tuad - sometimes his name is spelled Luang Pu Thuat
